I suggest you ...

merge tasks with time reminders -> "watch TV [18:45]"

I like the way Jorte Calendar done this: by simply adding [hh:mm] to taskname. Then you don't have to create separate calendar event for task reminder but you keep the task time internally and add reminder in Android.

    Indeed, this would be useful. Look at the implementation of tasks in pocket informant, for example. The reminder doesn't have to be a separate calendar event, could be just an alert that's linked with the task.

    I thing you messed up with terminology by allowing to create separate event (where time is imortant) as reminder for task (where time is not important) according to your definition.

    I would try to keep things simple and have task and _phone alarm_ in one. What I meant by "reminder in Android" is actually just the alarm on the date and time in brackets.
